RIP Natasha Richardson

Terrible news.


I remember hoping she might get an Oscar nomination for 'The White Countess' back before it was released. I've always loved her as an actress, so today feels especially sad.

RIP.

I'm not terribly familiar with her work, but I can say that I was pretty shocked. It started so innocently. She hit her head, then she went about her business for an hour before she had a severe headache. It all happened so fast and everyone seemed really confused about it. It was strange, compared to something like Heath Ledger, where all of a sudden he was just dead.

Sad, sad news. Although best known for her stage work (she was a Tony winner) she did have a film resume of note. Adding to the sadness is her leaving two young sons behind and that her 15 year marriage to Liam Neeson made it a rare show biz marriage that seemed to take.

RIP.

I best know her from my childhood days watching "The Parent Trap", so I was also shocked with the tragic news. I'm very sad for her. May she rest in peace.
