This looks like a good part for Anne Hathaway, who had Oscar buzz early on in the season. Plus, the possibility of a Debra Winger comeback sounds like a good deal .

Ummm....The worst that this can do is go the Margot at the Wedding route. But I have great hopes for Hathaway. I'll wait a few weeks when the film premieres at Venice and we can tell if she is a contender. I think a GG looks like the best bet. She needs SAG to get an Academy Nom.
i always had her in my top 5 along with streep,winslet,portman & blunt.
My Top 5. Winslet (For the win), Streep, Jolie, Kidman and Hawkins. I'm in it to win Nathaniel's game.
ummm, I don't know it looks like every other indie. Hathaway looks to be overacting. We'll see.
I have great hopes, Demme has a good record with female fantastic performances-Michelle Pfeiffer, Mercedes Ruehl, Melanie griffith and the fanatstic Jodie Foster. Plus: Anne Hathaway has been cosntantly good and she's growning like an actress and star at the same time. If I want to choose I prefer the sweet Hathaway instead Skeletor "overrated" Knightley.
Plus, we'll see is the real Winger's comeback, after her scandals for her character, because she's a good actress
Bonus: I prefer the other tittle "Dancing with Sheba", because "Rachel getting MArried" is meh

I think I am going to predict Hathaway in my next update. Winger for sure, but probably Hathaway, too. I don't know why, but I think this movie looks SO good.
I must be antsy for the Oscar season or something.
I like it A LOT after repeated viewings, but it def. can be one of those movies that comes and go's w/ out making a sound.
