Where is the Queen, the Departed, Flags of our Fathers and Little Children at the AFI????? It's not those damn penguins, but those damn Inside Men!

Ugh!!! And still not love for Children!!! I can't take this any more!

Andy, I think that Ryan Gosling will get in this year for Best Actor...and are we underestimating Sascha Baron Cohen??? Are we overestimating The Queed???

I figured The Queen wouldn't get into the AFI Top Ten because it's not an American film.

The Departed snub is especially troubling since the winner has always been on the Top Ten list.

Yay for Boston though, but that was a given.

Where did you get Boston from? I couldn't find it on the internet!

I think that we should get serious about a possiblity that "The Departed" might be able to sneak in the only true supporting actor - Mark Waldberg!!

Could the 'United 93' semi-love foreshadow some further love come February?

If Wahlberg gets nominated I will flip the fuck out. I LOOOOVED his performance so much.

And I think with the early Pursuit of Happyness reviews Smith might be out. This helps for my next Best Actor update, which will obviously include Ryan Gosling. I'm so happy that he's being recognized to this degree. It's truly one of the best performances of the year - in any category.

NYFCO are usually always all over the place - last year was The Squid and the Whale, this year is The Queen.

Am I the only one that thinks The Queen is overpraised. Sure, Dame Helen is fabulous, but come on, the film is kind of meh as a whole.

I am totally psyched about Wahlberg. If he wins, I might orgasm - just a little. Of course, I might shoot my television set if Scorsese gets shut out - again. It's hard to believe ANYONE can top him this year.

But what is The Departed not being on all Top 10 lists this year? It's very upsetting. I don't like seeing some mediocre films like Babel (which, sad to say, is one of the best this year) get in instead. Perhaps, Babel is stronger than we all thought and The Departed far weaker. Very distressing.

No, no, no! Come on LA Film Critics! This cannot be happening again - Clint over Marty, again?

I don't care how great Letters From Iwo Jima is - this is horrifying!
