Project Runway: Bye, Bye Bradley

So after a few weeks of holding off on the Project Runway blogs, I've decided to bring 'em back - comments or no comments.

But to be honest, reader participation hasn't really been the main reason for my lack of blogging. Rather, it's the show itself.

As much as I've enjoyed season 3 so far, Project Runway still appears to be in the process of finding itself. Instead of looking for the next great designer, the producers, editors, judges, whatever, seem much more interested in finding the next great TV villain (or should we say Wendy/Santino?) Evidence of this can be traced back to Angela, Vincent, Keith-Michael, and the weeding out of dull contestants like Bonnie and Katherine. And for someone who watches the show mostly for the designs, PR has become a bit of a nusence, even though I clearly understand what I am watching is reality television.

But with that aside, I must say that I actually agreed with the judges' decision to give Bradley the boot. Sure, he was put at an unfair disadvantage from the get go, having to design a modern look for Cher and all (and for that I think the model, who picked Cher, should get the boot, too), but yikes. The end result was still alarmingly bad, even for Cher, and as soon as it hit the runway I knew it was time to bid Bradley aideu.

In the end, though, it's still kinda sad to see the bearded cutie go. He seemed like a genuienly nice person, which is rare for this kind of program. Oh well. If you're out there, Bradley, I still love you. You're still my favorite Project Runway contestand and I'd still marry you if it were legal.

Moving on to next week, what do you guys think will happen? Will Michael's winning design make him the new frontrunner? Will Jeffrey, Laura and Angela continue to fight? And lastly, will Vincent ever go home!?
